Dear Fellow Delran Residents,
Summer has officially arrived in Delran! I would like to congratulate our Delran High School Graduates, the Class of 2025. May your future be filled with happiness, success, and exciting new adventures. I wish you all the best! To our 8th graders, congratulations on your promotion! New adventures are awaiting as you move forward on to High School.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 for our Delran Night Out event at Community Park.
Come join us for some fun and to take the opportunity to thank all our First responders for their time, dedication, and hard work in serving our community.
Important updates:
Tax Bills: Be advised that the Township Tax bills will be delayed as we await the County to certify the rate. Additional updates will be provided in the near future.
MV Theft Alert: Please remember to lock your vehicle doors when not in use. Do not leave your keys/personal belongings in the vehicle. It has been reported that several car thefts have taken place in the County.
Delran’s Recreation Advisory Committee (RAC):
The RAC has been working very hard on planning Delran’s Summer activities. They are as follows:
- Summer Camp – There will be two FREE summer camp weeks at Delran Community Park for Delran residents ages 5-12. The camps will be held July 28th – August 1st and August 18th-August 22nd from 10:00 am to 1:00pm. Register online at www.delrantownship.org
- Delran Night Out – Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Join us for family fun at this community event which includes live entertainment, inflatable houses and slides, games, food trucks, fireworks and more!
- Gates open at 6:00 pm with shuttles providing transportation.
- “08075 Can Sing!” winners Chase Mailhiot, Nathalia Teixeria and Nygel Wells will perform starting at approximately 6:10 pm.
- Live Bands performing at Delran Night Out will be “Lights Out – A tribute to Frankie Valle” and Winslow – An evening with the Eagles
- Fireworks will be displayed after the live band performances.
- This event is an opportunity to honor our police, fire and emergency services responders.
Below is a list of ongoing municipal construction projects:
Project Updates:
- Sewer Line repairs are in progress – Circuit Televised Video (CCTV) completed.
- Norman Avenue completed.
- Leon Avenue to be completed by July 4, 2025
- Materials for Leon Avenue construction have been ordered and project schedule is in progress
- 2025 Road Program Bond Ordinance will be introduced on July 8th for the concrete, paving and storm sewer work in the Millside neighborhood. Bid specifications are being completed for Stewart Ave. Phase 2 Storm Sewer project.
- NJ American Water Main replacement to begin in Millside; notification to residents will be sent from NJ American Water Company. Please be on the lookout for the notification so you are informed about road closures in your neighborhood.
- Riverside Park: A Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) Model is being developed and boundary conditions are being set. Current design/construction options are being reviewed preliminarily by the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE). Geotechnical sampling and analysis with follow-up of the results. Civil design is starting soon. Monthly meetings will be held with the design team upon completion of the preliminary work with bi-weekly status updates provided by the ACOE.
- An on-site PSE&G meeting will take place at Vermes Soccer Fields on July 9th for the purpose of finalizing locations of the electrical utilities for lighting. A grant application for improvements to Summerhill field has been completed and submitted. Please remember that submitting a grant application does not guarantee receipt of grant funding.
