The Delran Green Team has partnered with Fernbrook Nursery to help residents plant trees on your property. We’ve selected trees suitable for our growing zone. You can select from large shade trees, medium shade trees, flowering trees, upright/narrow trees, evergreens and fruit trees. Most of the trees are 2-2.5 inch diameter and balled and burlap for $385. This is the size trees we purchase to plant in our parks. Those trees that are less than $385 are likely smaller potted trees. You select the species and where in your yard you want your tree planted and Fernbrook does the rest. Trees will be planted in late May and early June. You directly pay Fernbrook by check on planting day. The total cost is listed by species. Here’s a link to view the trees available for planting in the spring. Here’s our online form to order a tree. Orders are due by April 15, so Fernbrook has sufficient time to get utility mark outs, dig the trees up and load them on the truck for delivery and planting.
